The Sultan of Multan, the Nawab of Najafgarh and now the Butcher from Hauz Khas! All these are the names given by all and sundry to describe Virender Sehwag and I intend to give him one more nickname: 46 !
Why on earth 46? Well, the only number he had on his person when he went out to bat against the Hyderabad team, Deccan something was "46" written on his trousers.
Andrew Symonds went for 5 runs of his first over. An amazing feat in a T20 match!
Then he came in to bowl the next over. "46" was batting, the scorecard shows, " 4 6 4 6 4 6"!
Can you argue with that? :) Sydney seemed so far away but the irony was not lost on anyone and the Deccan somethings must be feeling like one feels after buying an expensive pair of jeans and realises that they don't fit as well a month later!
Go 46! All the best to him!
